Description[]
Kunos is an elite familiar found within the Black Pit in Stygaea.
“Kunos is a lieutenant of Finion, known for the persistent darkness that cloaks it. The depths of the Black Pit are the domain of Kunos, where light can no longer pierce the abyssal veil. One researcher was able to determine that it draws its power from the soul fires of the pit. It is naturally quite difficult to approach this creature, veiled as it is. Should you attempt to approach anyway, arm yourself with a special mark that is said to control the beast. This mark can supposedly be found in the Black Pit and Purgatory.”
- ― From Jaas's "Familiars of Darkness"
Strategy[]
Kunos has other aggressive mobs in the air with it. Do not miss if you jump to tame, you will die if you fall into The Black Pit. The aggressive mobs and missing is not your biggest problem, other players is. Since Stygaea is a PvP zone, watch out for other roaming players. Have good gear before coming here.
How to Tame[]
Kunos is located in The Black Pit in Stygaea and flies around 790m - 915m in the air. Like most elites, a mark is required in order to tame. You would need a Kunos Mark to tame. Though, you do not need to lower its health bar before attempting to tame.
