Description[]
Mist is a tamable Elite familiar that can only be found inside The Frost Keep dungeon, located at the far South-Eastern corner of Parna's Coast. The player needs to possess Aisha's Tear in order to tame Mist.

“Mist is one of the three pet wolves Rondo has had since he was but a boy. Easily the most aggressive of the three, Mist caused no end of trouble for Rondo and soon fell out of his favor. If not for the unconditional love of Aisha, Rondo might have rid himself of the beast. Since the tragedy that befell Aisha, Mist will heed no one but Rondo himself. Mist will submit to anyone holding Aisha's Tear, a magic crystal that she shed before Salant turned her to ice. Of course, the crystal is held by Rondo himself, and it is unlikely that he would part with it willingly.”

Strategy[]
Frost, Mist and Phantom all spawn on Heroic difficulty during the final battle within The Frost Keep dungeon. If your aim is to tame one of these familiars, it is best to retreat from the fight once they spawn and then re-engage them one by one. To avoid dying to other enemies you can run into while taming, it is also recommended to make sure that your party members take aggro during the attempt and heal you if you take damage from Rondo's Freezing Wind.
How to Tame[]

In order to tame Mist, the player must obtain Aisha's Tear. When running The Frost Keep dungeon on Elite or Heroic difficulty, an item called "Sealed Book" has a low chance of appearing in any party member's inventory after the final fight against Rondo Terramunce. This book starts a quest sequence that leads to a daily quest which rewards the player with Aisha's Tear upon completion. Since Aisha's Tear is tradeable, it can also be purchased from the auction house should you be unable to obtain the Sealed Book yourself.
As Mist is an Elite mount, it is recommended that you lower his HP before you attempt to tame him.
