Description[]
Lavalight Cave, LLC, is the first dungeon players will encounter and is located in the south-west region of the Hakanas Highlands. The recommended starting level is 13-15. The dungeon-specific gear dropped in Lavalight Cave is called the Emberstone set. Outside the tunnel leading to the entranceway, an NPC's Private Corance and Van Owen Rabbini offers repeatable quests.

The emberstone golem...it's a living being of flame and rock that was created by Salant himself! If something like that ever got out, can you imagine the destruction it could create? it's our responsibility to make sure it never gets its chance.

Guidelines[]
Located in the South-west region of the Hakanas highlands lies Lavalight Cave. Which you can challenge solo or in a party. When attempting to enter you will be prompted with the Dungeon Difficulty selection window. where you will choose your difficulty in which you would like to enter (between Story, Elite, Heroic, and Legendary). Each of these difficulties come with their own separate requirements, waiting time and daily entry limit. After choosing the desired difficulty, you can now select a stage from I to V. Choosing a higher stage does influence the overall difficulty of the instance, but it will also significantly increase the drop rate. Lavalight Cave can be accessed multiple times a day and the entry can be reset using elluns. For any specific detail about a certain difficulty please consult the table below.
Requirements[]
In order to enter Lavalight Cave the character needs to
- be at least level 13 and higher (certain difficulties demand a higher level)
- all difficulties after the story will require you to successfully clear the previous one
- For Legendary, the player needs to possess a Level 40 Blessed Legendary Emblem

Quest[]
Near the entrance of Lavalight Cave, you will find NPC Corrance and NPC Van Owen Rabbini. They will be ready to hand you the following quest that can be completed inside of Lavalight Cave

4. Embers and Eggs
5. (Heroic) Rabbini vs Lavalight Cave
6. (Legendary) Rabbini vs. Lavalight Cave
Difficulties[]
The Story mode is the first level that you will have to complete to be able to go to the elite difficulty, and it only has one stage available. Once you enter you will go thru the ruins entrance and thru the halls of Lavalight Cave towards the Switftfire River. Where you will encounter the Burning skeleton Knight who is surrounded by a group of Resting Skeleton. After you defeat the Burning Knight, you must work your way thru more Burning skeleton knights and archers. After you defeat 2 burning skeleton Knights you will come in counter with emberstone rockling (who if not careful will come and blow up near you). From there you will head towards the Emberstone Lair which is where you will encounter the final boss. but first you need to jump over beds of lava while defeating emberstone rocklings and sentinel's You ill than encounter the Emberstone Golem, once you defeat him than the victory shrine will appear that you can use to exit the dungeon.

In heroic mode you have five different levels of difficulty to choose from where 1 the easiest level is and 5 is the hardest level of heroic that you can play. Once you enter you will face off with Burning skeleton soldiers and burning skeleton archers. You will keep going thru them till you encounter the Scorching Skeleton Captain. After you defeat him, you will venture thru the Swiftfire River. Here you will have to kill emberstone rockling and emberstone sentinel on your way to the Emberstone Lair where you will face off with the Emberstone Golem. Once you defeat the Emberstone Golem you will see the victory shrine which can be used to go back to entrance to the dungeon. After you survive heroic, you will then be able to move on to the Legendary level of the dungeon.

The Legendary mode is the fourth and final level that a player can run in Lavalight cave. In Legendary, you have five different levels of difficulty to choose from where 1 the easiest level is and 5 is the hardest level of Legendary that you can play. Once your inside you will encounter Burning skeleton marksman and burning skeleton soldiers. After you defeat them you than will come up on a flamethorn barrier that you must knock down to be able to defeat the Scorched skeleton captain who is waiting for you along with a burning skeleton marksman and solider. There is a circle of resting skeleton that is circled around them. You will than see that there is another Flamethron Barrier that you must knock down to keep going. After you go down the next part of the cave you will come up on another area with another scorching skeleton captain, who is accompanied by two burning skeleton marksmen. Then you will need to knock down another Flamethorn barrier to keep advancing in the dungeon. After you advance from there you will come up on Fire bomb rocks and emberstone sentinels. As your working your way thru them you can check in a little side area in the Swiftfire river close to the Emberstone lair, and if luck is on your side and you possess a calypto mark you can take your chance at taming Calypto. Then you come up on another flame thorn barrier that needs to be knocked down so that you can defeat the emberstone golem. This time the emberstone golem is accompanied by scorching skeleton marksman.

Rewards[]
In terms of rewards, Lavalight Cave offers a variety of possible drops ranging from treasure chests to Karasha gear and a lot of other exclusive items. The mobs will drop worn chests with gold inside, while each defeated boss will give you recompenses in form of a chest or a pouch. You also can receive Karasha gear recipes as well as other recipes. Familiars[]
In Lavalight there are two different familiars that you can tame. The first one is magma hound, who is found in the heroic level of the dungeon. While the second one is located in the legendary difficulty of the dungeon this one being Calypto
